Optikon
The optical store operates in the center of Piraeus. The design objective was to create an ergonomic space with a minimalist approach, maximizing the number of display units to showcase the products while facilitating customer service.
Simple materials were used for the design, such as metal profiles and birch plywood in custom-built elements. Combined with the gold-beige vinyl carpet, these materials convey a sense of luxury.
A horizontal surface separates the display areas from the storage spaces and functions as a countertop for exhibiting frames. Below the counters, movable wooden drawers address storage needs.
The circular staircase leading to the mezzanine office is clad with a custom structure made of metal frames, plexiglass surfaces, mirrors, and promotional panels.
