Detached appartment

The apartment is the pied-à-terre of a French couple with a deep love for the city of Athens.

It is located on the top floor of a multi-story building and is free on all sides, offering 360-degree views. 

The original layout was divided into many small spaces, and its elongated shape made the design particularly challenging. The proposed layout unifies the common areas with the kitchen while keeping the bedrooms secluded. Visual axes are enhanced to create the feeling that the entire city belongs to us.

The owners wished for dark color tones that contrast with the intense Attic light, in order to reinforce a sense of coziness and refuge despite the apartment’s exposure to the urban landscape. The bedroom furniture, as well as the central dining table, were specially designed and custom-made specifically for this apartment.
