Estia

The project includes the transformation of an old stone village house into a modern resort on the mountain. The building is set in harmony with the mountainous landscape while its materiality and colors, respect its environment. The goal is for it to function as a secondary residence for a couple with the ability to accommodate 6-8 people with full autonomy. The fireplace is used as a reference point for each subsection of the residence. There are three fireplaces inside the house, one in the living room and one in two of the bedrooms, as well as one outdoors in the courtyard. This way users can choose between complete isolation and privacy or gathering and collective housing.
