Panagiota Kamberou was born in Germany in February 1977. She completed her first cycle degree in architecture at the Ecole d’architecture de Languedoc Roussillon, and continued with two more cycles at the Ecole d’architecture de Paris La Villette, from where she received her diploma with honors in 2002.
Before returning to Greece, she worked for two years in architectural firms in Paris. During the past years she has completed dozens of private projects such as restaurants, shops, offices and residences and her works have been published in architectural and other magazines.
The creation of YSE as a “space” where different disciplines and personalities meet has been a personal need for years. Always staying open to new stimuli, journeys, opinions, images, and ways of expression, she likes to compose new spaces that contain the element of surprise and the magic of the senses.
Natalia Chrysikou is an architect and urban designer. She received her diploma in Architecture, from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2001) and successfully completed a post-graduate MArch in public buildings design and open urban spaces, at the Architectural School of Belleville in Paris (Ecole d’Architecture de Paris Belleville), (2002). She is a PhD candidate at the Aristotle University in the fields of ephemeral and cultural events, sensory experience, architectural, urban and environmental regeneration strategies and sustainability. She has cooperated with various architects and schemes in architectural and urban design projects. Her professional activity extends both in Greece and abroad and concerns the section of residential, industrial, office and public building projects, interior design, urban design studies and architectural competitions (international and national) with awards. Her works have been published in architectural magazines and have participated in architectural exhibitions. She has also participated in two research projects at A.U.th., in scientific conferences and has been assisting in teaching courses in the departments of Interior Architecture and Civil Engineering in I.H.U (2019-today), in the department of Architecture School in A.U.Th (2020-2021) and in the departments of Engineering and Interior Design in the Technical School of Serres (2009-2019).
Andri Orphanidi was born in Katerini. She studied at the School of Architectural Engineering of the Technical University of Crete in Chania. She did her internship at the architectural office SV60 in Spain, in the city of Seville. From 2022, she is a member of the Your Space Experience team.
She has participated in seminars concerning the public space and in competitions concerning social housing. She deals with ceramics and the design of small objects. She loves swimming, which led her to choose the redesign of the municipal swimming pool of Chania in her diploma thesis.
Her interest in architecture starts from the desire for a sustainable welcoming and creative environment as she believes that by defining and designing the space we define who we are and how we want to live.
Leto Karabini graduated from the School of Architectural Engineering of the Technical University of Crete. She lived in Athens, Nafplio and Chania and she likes to explore the places she lives and travel and meet people.
She has organized seminars for children with the aim of experimenting around the concept and perception of space, where the children created spaces of their imagination by building models. She has won praise in the “Competition of Complex Toy Construction” (May 2018) and has participated in seminars related to physical construction in Crete and Serbia. She attended the “Scenography-Costume Design” seminar of the National Theater (2021-2022) and is currently attending the postgraduate program D.P.M.S. “Research in Architecture: Design – Space – Culture” of NTUA.
She loves to constantly explore the relationship between man and space and to draw on different scales from that of cities, buildings and even objects.
