Panagiota Kamberou was born in Germany in February 1977. She completed her first cycle degree in architecture at the Ecole d’architecture de Languedoc Roussillon, and continued with two more cycles at the Ecole d’architecture de Paris La Villette, from where she received her diploma with honors in 2002.
Before returning to Greece, she worked for two years in architectural firms in Paris. During the past years she has completed dozens of private projects such as restaurants, shops, offices and residences and her works have been published in architectural and other magazines.
The creation of YSE as a “space” where different disciplines and personalities meet has been a personal need for years. Always staying open to new stimuli, journeys, opinions, images, and ways of expression, she likes to compose new spaces that contain the element of surprise and the magic of the senses.
Dr. Katerina Christoforaki is an MSc Architect Engineer (2010) with a Master’s Degree on Urban and Regional Planning (2013) with a PhD on Urban Planning, awarded by the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens. Between 2015-2020 she worked as a teaching assistant in the School of Architecture NTUA. She is currently a Teaching Associate at the University of Thessaly, as well as the Post Graduate Program of the School of Architecture NTUA. Additionally, she is working as a researcher at the Laboratory of Urban Environment, NTUA, participating on several research projects both in Greece and internationally. Her main research interests include the examination of the shaping of the urban landscape under given external pressures, by highlighting the successive changes of the city fabric under the contributing factors of its environment. Main objective is the contribution to a more viable and resilient way of planning our cities.
Natalia Chrysikou is an architect and urban designer. She received her diploma in Architecture, from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2001) and successfully completed a post-graduate MArch in public buildings design and open urban spaces, at the Architectural School of Belleville in Paris (Ecole d’Architecture de Paris Belleville), (2002). She is a PhD candidate at the Aristotle University in the fields of ephemeral and cultural events, sensory experience, architectural, urban and environmental regeneration strategies and sustainability. She has cooperated with various architects and schemes in architectural and urban design projects. Her professional activity extends both in Greece and abroad and concerns the section of residential, industrial, office and public building projects, interior design, urban design studies and architectural competitions (international and national) with awards. Her works have been published in architectural magazines and have participated in architectural exhibitions. She has also participated in two research projects at A.U.th., in scientific conferences and has been assisting in teaching courses in the departments of Interior Architecture and Civil Engineering in I.H.U (2019-today), in the department of Architecture School in A.U.Th (2020-2021) and in the departments of Engineering and Interior Design in the Technical School of Serres (2009-2019).
